Brittne Kittrell is a multidisciplinary artist based in Houston, Texas but originally from Oceanside, California. She works across avariety of mediums, selecting the materials that best align with her artistic vision. Kittrell studied Drawing and Painting at Texas Southern University, where her work was featured in the Senior Show 2022. She has also exhibited in the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston Staff Show 2022.​

Her practice is deeply influenced by the people, objects, and the cultures she loves.Kittrell’s artistic journey began in childhood, drawing her favorite characters, and wasnurtured by the encouragement of a middle school art teacher. After briefly stepping away in high school, she was persuaded by her mother to return to art during college, a decision that ultimately shaped her career.​

In addition to her studio practice, Kittrell teaches middle school art and occasionallytakes on freelance projects. Her current body of work explores student inspiration,still lifes, and abstraction through charcoal, oil pastels, oil paint, and mixed media.
